How to Make a Cool Sock Puppet

Materials

1. Sock
2. Hot Glue Gun
3. String (your choice of color)
4. Permanent Marker (your choice of color)
5. Scissors
6. Thread
7. Felt (preferably black)

Directions

1. Take your sock and cut it to the length that you want.
2. Push the toes of your sock in to form the mouth.
3. Cut a piece of felt to fit the inside of your mouth. When you have cut it out, have an adult help you to glue the felt in the mouth.
4. Cut twenty pieces of strings that are the same size, and tie them together in the middle. This will be your hair.
5. Have an adult glue the middle of the hair on top of the sock, two inches above the mouth.
6. Do the hair however you want, pig tails, pony tail, braids, etc.
7. Use the permanent marker to draw a face on your puppet.
8. Add anything else you would like.
9. Have fun playing with your sock puppet.
