How to Make an Aquarium

Materials

1. Oatmeal box (with lid)
2. 2 liter soda bottle (make sure you can see through it).
3. Construction paper (5 different colors(or more), but one must be green.)
4. Scissors
5. Fishing wire
6. Hot Glue Gun
7. Tape

Directions

1. Cut the oatmeal box so there is 2 inches left on both sides (the bottom and the top).
2. Cut the 2 liter soda bottles top and bottom off about 4 inches.
3. Cut a fish shape out of each piece of paper.
4. Cut some seaweed shapes out of the green piece of paper.
5. Have an adult help you glue the seaweed to the bottom of the oatmeal box (but don't put it around the edges).
6. Cut five different lengths of wire.
7. Tape each piece of wire to the back of each fish.
8. Tape the wire to the lid of the oatmeal box.
9. Have an adult help you glue the bottom part of the oatmeal box to the bottom of the 2 liter soda bottle (so the seaweed is inside the soda bottle).
10. Have an adult help you glue the top of the oatmeal box to the top of the soda bottle (so that the fish dangle inside the soda bottle).
11. There you have it an aquarium.
